What do you get?

Have a script you want feedback on right away?  Send us your script and we’ll send you detailed feedback fast for a competitive rate.

Most script analysts provide a single coverage sheet saying what areas are strong, which are weak and a few notes as to why.  We give an overview assessment of the entire script that suggests the strengths and weaknesses but also provides a line-by-line set of notes on what pulled the reader from the story.  Anything from spelling errors to formatting to character development to story structure will be noted.  Some analysts will charge you up to $4000!  (I’m not kidding – Syd Field.  I’m not questioning his insight, but that’s way too much money.)

Story Consulting

We’ll work with you through the development of your story to draft stage to get it where you want it to be.  This is much more involved and time-consuming.  For this reason, projects are accepted on the strength of your concept, your experience as a writer and your dedication to the project.

Only one project will be accepted at a time. Currently, there are no openings, but please submit your information should you like to be put on the wait list.

Not all submissions are accepted.

Not suitable for first-time writers, writers looking for a partner or for someone to write their script for them.  This is best suited to experienced writers (those with more than one completed project) who are having trouble working out the kinks in their story and need someone to help guide them to draft stage.  Rates are dependent on the stage of development.  A reading fee may be charged to assess the project, which will be deducted from your total fee should you qualify.

Should your project be produced, we request that you assign story editor credit to your consultant.
